This is an AWESOME series that gives the viewer a never before seen viewpoint of all that goes on in the open ocean. If you have Amazon Prime, I highly suggest watching at least one episode! We’re watching them this week as a family.

This video is a pretty quick watch for a variety of wild life where 80% of the world’s creatures call home. It helps describe the differences between the different depths of the ocean.
Things to ponder: Why do the animals go into the lower zones out of the reach of sunlight at times?
What is bioluminescence and for what is it used?
What is the meaning behind the impact chart?
What kind of impacts are we having on the ocean?
How does the variety of species play into the culture of our world?
This document shows Maritime Vocabulary. Get familiar with it. There will be a Connect To the Definition quiz on it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Es23rByR5fFefQeYyZVGCAaiV8Sz4N0KzXjSNLDBsto/edit?usp=sharing
